\nAdolf Hoffmeister \u2014 painter, caricaturist, and friend of Picasso, Dal\u00ed and Beckett \u2014 is the spiritual father of the artistic atmosphere that pervades the estate. His drawings of famous personalities adorn the restaurant and guest rooms.
\nHis son Martin, a film director and Prague hotelier, transformed a crumbling farmstead into a place you never want to leave.
\nToday, the estate is run by his two granddaughters: Ada Hoffmeisterov\u00e1, a graduate of the prestigious Ecole H\u00f4teli\u00e8re de Lausanne, who oversees the restaurant and hotel, and Ria Lacina Hoffmeisterov\u00e1, the head trainer and director of the equestrian programme, who honed her skills during a year-long internship at the stables of two-time Olympic champion Franke Sloothaak.
