Dvůr Hoffmeister
tradition and modern comfort
Each of our sixteen rooms is different — from the romantic four-poster bed in Room 1, through spacious attic suites with original timber trusses, to the modern rooms above the stables with a whirlpool bath for two. What they share is an eye for detail and the artistic atmosphere created by copies of Adolf Hoffmeister’s drawings throughout the estate.
Hospitality runs in the family. In the 1990s, the Hoffmeisters ran Hotel Hoffmeister in Prague and catered official state lunches and dinners for President Václav Havel — including the gala dinner in honour of Queen Elizabeth II at Prague Castle in 1996. A commemorative certificate from that evening hangs in the hotel foyer to this day.
Dvůr Hoffmeister sits in the quiet village of Velké Přílepy, just 8 km from Václav Havel Airport and a 15-minute drive from Prague. Free parking is included. In the morning, breakfast is prepared with local ingredients; in the evening, a restaurant listed by Gault&Millau and awarded Two Golden Lions awaits — all without leaving the courtyard.

Close to the airport, far from the rush

Park your car safely on the premises — no searching, no fees.
A stay in a country estate
Picture a 1920s courtyard where show jumpers still train, where the scent of a seasonal menu drifts from the restaurant kitchen, and where your room overlooks a peaceful courtyard. The almost century-old buildings breathe tradition and solidity, yet a thoughtful renovation has given them the comfort you expect from a good hotel — air conditioning, quality beds, well-appointed bathrooms.
Hospitality runs deep in the Hoffmeister family. In the 1990s, the parents of today’s owners ran Hotel Hoffmeister in Prague, where they catered official state lunches and dinners for the visits of President Václav Havel — including a gala dinner for Queen Elizabeth II at Prague Castle in 1996. A commemorative certificate from the occasion still hangs in the hotel foyer.
No city noise, even though the city is just minutes away.
What’s nearby
Dvůr Hoffmeister is far from the middle of nowhere. A two-minute drive takes you to the ruins of Okoř Castle (2.5 km), a popular spot for walks and picnics. In neighbouring Malé Číčovice, an elegant octagonal Chapel of the Finding of the Holy Cross (1714) crowns the hilltop — a Baroque gem where wedding ceremonies are held to this day. Nearby you’ll also find V Polích — another Gault&Millau-listed restaurant with B&B accommodation (yes, two Gault&Millau restaurants in one small village).
In the other direction, it’s just 3–4 km to the Lidice Memorial, one of the most powerful sites in modern Czech history. Nearby you’ll also find Zoo Zájezd — a smaller zoo perfect for families with children — and the historic town of Buštěhrad. Shoppers and parents take note: POP Airport Outlet is just a short drive away, with shops, the Mayland children’s entertainment centre, and more.
And if you’d like to head into Prague? Fifteen minutes by car, eight kilometres from the airport. There’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel — the ride to Veleslavín metro station takes about 30 minutes, though services are infrequent, so a car or taxi is the more reliable option.
