Most venues give you a space. We give you a story. Dvůr Hoffmeister is a restored 1920s equestrian estate where the Hoffmeister family has welcomed guests for three generations. Your wedding will unfold across our garden, barn, courtyard, and hotel — with award-winning food, 42 horses in the stables, and a team that treats every couple like family.

How your day unfolds

Morning — Wake up in our hotel. Bridal preparations in your room while the team sets up the barn and garden exactly as you envisioned.

Ceremony — Say your vows in our garden beneath the willow trees — or in the nearby Čičovice chapel. An intimate, personal moment surrounded by those who matter most.

Cocktails & Photos — Your guests enjoy drinks on the terrace while you steal away for portraits in the garden, courtyard, or with one of our horses.

Dinner — The barn doors open to reveal your reception: exposed brick walls, crystal chandeliers, long tables set with care. Chef Karel serves a menu crafted just for you.

Party — Our soundproofed dance hall means no curfew. Dance until 2am or later. No noise complaints, no early endings.

The Morning After — Breakfast together on the terrace. Stories from last night. Coffee in the courtyard. The celebration continues.

At most venues, catering is an afterthought. At Dvůr Hoffmeister, it is the centrepiece.

Chef Karel Rosenheim cooks with seasonal Czech ingredients, zero artificial flavours, and the kind of care you find in fine dining — not in wedding catering. Our restaurant is listed in the Gault&Millau guide. Your wedding menu will be designed together: a tasting dinner, wine pairing from our 100-label cellar, and options from intimate seated dinners to generous buffets with live grilling.

Investment & practicalities

We host weddings from intimate gatherings of 20 to celebrations of up to 100 guests. The format is yours — seated dinner, buffet, or a combination.

Pricing overview

• Venue hire: from 40,000 CZK / approx. €1,600 (weekday) to 120,000 CZK / approx. €4,800 (full weekend Fri–Sun)
• Wedding menu or buffet: from 1,950 CZK per person / approx. €78
• Accommodation: from 2,500 CZK per room/night / approx. €100 (breakfast included)
• Coordination, DJ, ceremony: available as part of your package

A typical Saturday wedding for 80 guests — full catering, accommodation for 30, DJ, coordinator and ceremony — comes to approximately 280,000–350,000 CZK (€11,000–14,000).

For context: a comparable barn wedding in the UK costs £20,000–40,000. In Germany, €15,000–30,000. At Dvůr Hoffmeister, you get a Gault&Millau kitchen, on-site hotel, and a story three generations in the making.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many guests can you accommodate?

Up to 100 for a seated dinner or buffet in the barn. Intimate weddings of up to 40 can be hosted in the restaurant. Mini weddings for up to 30 are available on weekdays and Sundays.

Can our guests stay overnight?

Yes — 16 rooms on the estate, from €83/night including breakfast. We recommend booking all rooms for your wedding party so everyone can enjoy the morning after together.

How far are you from Prague and the airport?

15 km from Prague centre (20 min by car), 8 km from Václav Havel Airport (10 min). Free parking for 40 cars on-site. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel.

Do you speak English?

Yes — Ada Hoffmeisterová and Kristýna Rollo both speak fluent English and will manage your wedding from first enquiry to the last dance. All communication, planning and coordination can be done entirely in English.

Can we have a ceremony in the garden?

Our garden with its willow trees is a beautiful setting for symbolic or humanist ceremonies. For a legal Czech ceremony, we can recommend English-speaking officiants. The nearby Čičovice chapel (500m) is also available for religious ceremonies (4,000–5,000 CZK).

Can horses be part of our wedding?

Absolutely — stable tours, pony rides for children, and photos with one of our horses are all possible. Arranged in advance with our equestrian team.

What is included in the venue hire?

Exclusive use of the barn, terrace, and garden. Setup time from the morning. Parking for 40 cars. Tables, chairs, and basic equipment. Coordination on the day. Decoration, flowers, music, and photography are up to you — though we are happy to recommend trusted suppliers.

Can we bring our own suppliers?

Yes — bring your own florist, photographer, band, or wedding planner. We also offer DJ, ceremony, decoration and full coordination packages for couples who prefer an all-in-one solution.

Is there a curfew?

No — our soundproofed dance hall means you can celebrate through the night. Music until 2:00 on weekdays, later on weekends by arrangement.

What about the weather?

The barn and dance hall are fully enclosed and air-conditioned — your wedding goes ahead rain or shine. When the weather is beautiful, we open the terrace and garden for cocktails and the ceremony.
